Installation is quick and easy, and support is super efficient and helpful. We've spent years looking for this kind of software and there is nothing out there to touch it (including all the 'Multi-channel companies' who charge a fortune). - I have been using their extensio… 22/12/2011 TamburraI have been using their extension for over 2 years now. Version 3 knocks the socks off version 2. We have successfully upgraded from version 2 to 3 with the migration tool and everything ran smoothly on our end. These guys have been excellent with returning messages through their ticket system and any bugs we spotted have been fixed immediately by the team. You can just check out their release notes here and look at the dates and see how on top of their products they are. I personally cannot wait for the Amazon extension either. I know there are other extensions out there but I a love the quality of M2E that I am willing to wait till they release their own version.

- Francis, I am very sorry… 19/12/2011 ESS-UAFrancis, I am very sorry but I have to admit that it is very difficult to have a conversation with you as you constantly refuse listening.The current situation:A) The product you had purchased (version 2) is fully functioning and there is nothing should be stopping you from continuing using it. We genuinely believe that you have no outstanding issues with this product.B) The new product has been released ( version 3). According to partnership agreement, it is currently (!) provided FREE (!) of charge in addition to a FREE(!) support to all customers who take part in this pilot schema.To summarize: We have every right (!) to give a warning and then to refuse any service to those who purchased A) or B) should inappropriate behaviour triggering abuse detected. There is nothing wrong with the software; you just don’t have a license for our new product. You have been banned not for “poor reviews” as we appreciate constructive dialog and valid critics but for abusive behaviour ( i.e. our ticket system) You had been warned (i.e. given chance) and it was solely your choice (!) to continue your abusive behaviour towards our company and our staff.Actions:1. The eBay has been informed about the accident and the response has been received.2. That shows how incredibly childish, irresponsable and unlawfull they are. I can understand lack of support, since anyway they seem unable to fix the huge troubles I noticed, but suspending my licence is obviously a violation of their agreement : I should have it for free, like everyone else, even if it's unusable for now.that means a lawsuite because I won't let them crush my business as they will crush your business if you write something bad about them. I strongly suggest everyone of you to contact ebay in order to make them stop that scandal.

After you purchased our product (M2E Pro version 2) we did work with you to resolve all reported by you issues and got it working perfectly for your business. So as a company we have fulfilled all our obligations as far as the product you have purchased from us is concerned. Please correct me if I am wrong. 2. Upon release of M2E Pro version 3 you wanted to take advantage of a new, available for FREE(!) product and to switch to it from another product (M2E Pro version 2) which you had purchased. Please note that M2E Pro version 3 is a completely new tool (i.e. new engine, etc) and not an update for version 2. So it can not be considered to an upgrade. As we have mentioned this number of times, you support for M2E Pro version 3 has been terminated due to your abusive behavior. However, you can still use the product you have purchased! Please note that we do NOT violate our partner agreement with eBay, moreover we have already informed eBay about this accident. As a company we will not tolerate any disrespect or verbal abuse towards our staff. We are proud of our people as they deserve respect for work they do.

I did it and migration did not work. They did it by hand and it still did not work, in fact I found so many bugs, they were pissed and told me I was just too stupid to use it, instead of working with me to debug it, since I have 3500+ articles on ebay it was a great opportunity to fix it. i also lost a lot of money because of the options not handled as they should, it cost me 0,45 euros per article. how many articles again ? 3500.

I asked a new licence, suspended again.and now ? "Internal server error(s) [Client domain is wrong for this license key.]"since asking for a licence is not domain related, it seems to me they blacklisted my store and violated their agreement with ebay. and that means a huge lawsuite, obviously.So I really hope it's a really, really stupide bug quickly fixed beause I won't let a pissed developper ruining my business.

It seems like its going to be great, however I went to look at 3rd party listings (all settings are correct to import) and it is only showing 7 records. 3 of which are non-active anylonger… so only 4 of the 77 active listings I have on ebay that were created on eBay. - Francis, as a company and… 07/12/2011 ESS-UAFrancis, as a company and as individuals, we have always tried to understand our customer’s concerns. Moreover, we always have striven to provide the best possible service to our clients as we really appreciate them doing business with us. Most of our users are capable of using a simple ticketing system to report bugs/configuration problems and are able to use our simple instructions to resolve these. In 99.9% cases, most issues are resolved to mutual satisfaction (i.e. a customer gets working product, we improve our software: all parties benefit).However, sadly, this is not the case with you. Your way of communicating your problems, for some reason, is very different. You tend to use our ticking system to reflect your felling rather than to describe problems:"…You could have see it, if you were not such, an as*hole…", "…I won't have to read your insanely stupid crap…", "…you are the offensive one, even crazy-mad…", "…If you have finished yelling…". Back in February 2011 we warned you about your behavior being not acceptable. As a company we can not tolerate such comments and allow our staff members being bullied.Despite of our numerous warnings you have kept using abusive language towards our people. We have had no choice but to stop providing you with any kind of support unless you change your attitude and start following rules that are same for all our customers.Regarding your problems, which you managed to describe above:What we don’t really understand is why you could not describe your problems to us using our ticketing system? If we had this report posted you would have had your problems resolved by now. All issues could have been fixed within 15-30 minutes; this is caused by migration from version 2.x to the latest 3.x. And the last thought: every new release has issues. We are all aware of this. Very often, issued are caused by third parties making changes to their modules (i.e. magento, ebay) and “blame game” will get us all nowhere. Thus we look forward constrictive co-operation. In some countries we use "," instead of ".". for exemple every shipping rate in my website was changed from "2,9" to only "2" because obviously they don't handle what's coming after that.3/ bug in gallerythat one cost me 0,45 euros per article (a few hundred euros…)I did put one picture max in configuration, but this new version put all pictures in the gallery anyway.and here some delightful answers I received from their customer "service"…"'You was not able to edit General templates, because you haven't synchronized France marketplace data, so it is obviously and message was said about it!!!"this also might be the reason, why previously migration tool was not migrated data initially.I was mentioned it before and this is last notice to you.Please be specific as much as possible with the issue description if you want to get help. No matter what I did, it was having a problem displaying the frontend or admin panel post-installation, there was a class error in mage.php I believe… UNTIL I DISABLED the compilation tool in the admin panel. Then everything WORKED PERFECTLY and is an amazing extension, and I'd recommend it to anyone with a eBay account that needs to synchronize with Magento. If you have similar problems DISABLE System -> Tools -> Compilation! Thank you ESS-UA for such a great extension!!!

- I'm going to use this review… 18/11/2010 autolift1I'm going to use this review to try and put right some of the comments that stick in my mind – in the hope that it will make more people take the plunge and add this extension to their magento install. After purchasing the extension with the option for advanced installation – it took just 2 hours before Paul had installed the extension and had it up and running. To start with the system is a little daunting, but once you get your head around it then its actually pretty simple and intuitive. All my questions have been answered promptly and accurately, leaving me with absolutely no issue with either the extension or its support. I note that some people have not been very happy with Paul and found him to be rude – this is not something I have found to be correct. His messages are simple, clear and straight to the point – exactly what's needed. When we moved servers he even took the time to log into our systems and make sure everything was running smoothly. What more can I ask for? A few times, people have discussed problems with the software that make it difficult to use – this is something that I have not come across. I have having a small issue with the way it imports orders using UK VAT – but I'm sure that this is something that can be easily sorted. I'm not going to say that this extension is perfect and the solution to all your problems as I am not the right person to give that judgement. What I am trying to do is be honest and give you an overview of my experiences so far. My Conclusion – From initial order to now this extension has really been a fantastic addition to magento and ebay. - I've been using M2E for a… 28/10/2010 leedjcI've been using M2E for a little while now, and it makes my life SO much easier.I have spent a lot of time, entering our product info into our Magento site, and didn't relish having to re-enter this info into eBay, or to mess about with exporting the data and manipulating it.Now we can run a big eBay campaign right through our site without having to reenter any data at all. Just create a good template for our eBay listings, and M2E fills the template with all the info. The eBay orders automatically come into our Magento site. We now manage shipping through our Magento site, as well as dispatch etc. We hardly have to go back into the eBay site itself anymore.We have had a couple of issues with the module, but these have been resolved very quickly (mostly my fault!). Support is great and very quick.Keep up the good work and development guys, and I'm sure that this very good module will be turned into an exceptional one!

- I purchased your M2E Pro… 19/10/2010 hyserureI purchased your M2E Pro extension for Magento 1.4.1 and I'm having a problem with configurable products. In the listing template, on the Multi-Variation tab, I set Configurable Products to YES and I selected the variation SKU = Product SKU, Variation Price = Special Price, and Variation Qty = Product Qty. It says it will use attributes "color" and "size", which is all correct.But when I go to create a listing, if I select a configurable product, it will have a quantity of 0 (because the associated simple product "variants" each have their own quantities). Also, if I select one of the simple products (ie. Women's shoe – Size 8), it will not use the product images from the parent configurable product. It just doesn't use any images at all (since each individual simple product variation does not have separate images — they just use from the parent configurable product on our website).Can you please help me get this working properly?Thanks
- I recently installed this… 28/09/2010 mkosI recently installed this extension in magento 1.4.1.1. The installation was fairly easy. There were a couple of bumps getting started but support was very quick to reply and work them. I can appreciate the level of difficulty getting an application as complex as Magento to deal with another fairly complex environment like eBay. There are definately some bug, definately some areas that need some polish and a few more features to add, but I've been able to use this extension to get products from Magento into eBay and get them sold. That would be the bottom line. I can understand that some may want to work through the issues this extension has, especially since we did pay for it. For us we can deal with it as long as there is progress toward a full release version that is 99% bug free. I know how it is to be pushed while developing applications, I did that for many years myself. I believe from what I've seen so far as long as you are willing to provide clear information, work with these guys and apply a small amount of patience you'll see something pretty amazing in the near future.Oh….they paid me really well to say all this LOL Just kidding

This is a very deep extension and can be confusing at first, but you must understand Ebay is very deep and there is many many ebay options. 95% of them you don't use but the extension has to have as someone uses it. So it can make it confusing, but once you setup and going it works great. Even got great support!

Sometimes it is same day, sometimes I don't get a reply.HOWEVERThe amount of time you save using it (with it's hangups) is insane. Once you can get it working to some level you will be able to get everything listed on eBay and not have to worry much about it.I have been using this for five months and they are true to their word…they are improving. It would be nice if it was a bit faster with some up to date documentation (multi-variations listings?). at the moment we seem to get about one new version a month which isn't bad.

We know, that our extension is not excellent yet, but we are working on it. I assume that you described our previous version 2.0.11 – there we made a lot of changes, so a lot of bugs appeared. I agree that it is our fault. Our customers asked us for that version so we had to release that asap, so not all features were properly tested. Since that we will not put untested version.As for slow support, normally, we response immediately during our working hours (10 -18 GMT+2), but sometimes it take longer.Our apologies for that.As for bad programming, we will not refuse that – there are some parts, especially Listing template part, but of course, we were going to re factor that.As i said before, we are keen to make our product excellent, but for that we need some time. - I think, it is fair to let… 13/07/2010 ESS-UAI think, it is fair to let people know situation from other side. The text below from our correspondence with customer – it explains the problem. "… We suspect that some changes were made to the core of magento, because wefound in the /app/code/ Mage.php and Mage.php.new with differentsizes. It is obvious that we cannot guarantee stable working of extension ifmagento native files were changed. We have more than 120 installationso far, and never have had experienced with the problem you have…"We spend our time trying to help customer, but when we realized that magento core files were changed by someone, then we gave up. However, at the end, we suggested to customer to install clean magento 1.4.1 and our extension on it to prove that problem is in his magento installation. We said, if extension fails we will refund him, if will work ok – then he will pay us for time we spend for set up. The customer didn't agree and blackmailed us that if we do not refund he will leave negative feedbacks. However, from our point of view our offer was pretty fair and if person was interested in working extension, he would accept it.

If you are able to fix some minor things you will have a great extension to organize and create listings. The support was fine for me. They implemented all the things i requested. Again: This isnt a plug and play extension, but on the other hand it saves me so much time in comparision to the situation before. Especially for creating listings in ebay and creating products in magento.

The company claimed that it worked for 1.4.1.0 and even tried to put it in for me. They then decided that it was my fault and it could not be installed and therefore they would not refund the money i spent on this product. I still have not been able to get this to work properly and have received nothing but hateful emails from them. DO NOT BUY THIS APP!!! or anything else this company does. They are out to strictly steal your money.
- I don't know if the people… 17/06/2010 bladeslingI don't know if the people below were paid to say the things they said or this app had a major turnaround but bar non- this is a terrible app.I don't even know where to start. The app has a lot of nice looking features, but several do not work out of the box. Installation was easy enough but the support is terribly slow, taking roughly 2 days to respond to help so I decided to go my own and fix the issues. 12ish hours later I have a duck taped module ready to go! Now I assumed I had a setting or 2 wrong, which I did, but overall it didn't work because it isn't talking to the ebay API correctly.Also, syncing was syncing improper numbers. I tried setting up calculated shipping for both international and local and that didn't work either. There were dozens of hangups someone would never be able to fix themselves if they weren't a programmer. I wasn't trying to add features that didn't belong to the module, I was trying to use features the module supported. Not only that, but the manual is off course and needs updating and more explanation with more pictures of what information you need to input.This application seems very untested and I am afraid to be using it, but it works with my ducktape. I was amazed at how poorly the entire thing is programmed. This was not just a bad experience, it was a terrible experience. I would stay away from this application if you are not willing to put in man hours into fixing things when they don't work. You will have to deal with the ebay api which lemme tell ya- documentation SUCKS.I will be steering clear of ESS-UA's modules from now on. Bugs I found but not all of them by any means:- I occassionally have to set the eBay Category when I edit the product because it doesn't set itself when loading- Setting the price configuration template does not seem to work…- Calculated shipping does not base off of product weight, you have to set this up per listing template. Or you can base it off of a product attribute but you have to specify an attribute for lbs and oz, so using the attribute weight does not work.- Occassionaly the manual would not have the latest information. Such as the shipping information.- Calculated international and local shipping doesn't work by default- Setting listing time from 30 to GDT wouldn't stick- Product qnty would be 1 less on the ebay side on first listing post (syncing didn't fix it unless i changed the magento product qnty)- Ebay api errors don't list the ERROR NUMBER!I don't remember the rest.
